Abstract

Counterfeit technology propagation and deepfake systems threaten authenticity, trust, and data integrity. This research article proposes a novel technique that leverages Blockchain Technology (BT) integrated with improved chameleon hashing to combat these threats. BT integration assures transparency and immutability, while improved Chameleon Hash Function (CHF) gives secure and efficient authentication. This combined technique focuses on enhancing the prevention and detection of illegal content changes, providing a robust solution for preserving the authenticity and integrity of digital content. The proposed blockchain-assisted improved Chameleon Hashing (BAiCH) promises substantial progression in combating deception and fake systems via a cryptographically and CHF secure system. The performance of the proposed framework BACH is compared with existing state-of-the-art techniques. The BACH give a minimal Bit Error Rate (BER) of 0.098 bits and a higher Signal-Noise Ratio (SNR) of 30dB, which is efficient over existing techniques.
