Abstract
Lid motility disfunction is a hitherto unrecognized entity in bee sting injuries. Three cases of bee sting injuries are reported in which there was a lid motility disorder. One patient had lagophthalmos, whereas the other two had ptosis. Recognition of this problem and its management are discussed. The possible mechanism of the motility disfunction is dealt with in detail.
