Abstract

The performance of the Mach Zehender Interferometer is monitored for the testing of refined oil. The sensing can be observed at the sensing arm of the Mach Zehender Interferometer (MZI). By placing sensing element on the sensing arm of MZI, the refractive index changes and hence the phase shift can be observed. Hence, the proposed design monitors the adulterated oil, which can be further used in various analysis. The study about quality of oil can be further investigated with medical field for lab on a chip devices.
