Abstract

Obstructive sleep apnea is a disorder related to sleep which causes a total halt in the airflow despite an effort to breathe. The brain responds to lack of oxygen by alerting your body and it causes awakening at night. The patient also reports of excessive snoring at night. Here we present a case of 8 years old female who presented to us with obstructive sleep apnea and was managed with the placement of intraoral distractors. The patient recovered well and showed a definite improvement in the symptoms.
