title = "New benzoxazoles as potential antitumor agents",
abstract = "2-Aryl benzoxazols were synthesized by refluxing o-aminophenol with substituted benzoic acids in the presence of polyphosphoric acid. The screening for antitumour activity was done as per the National Cancer Institute Drug Screening Strategy 1985. Three compounds were found to be significantly cytotoxic as compared to Cisplatin against the EAC induced mice.",
