Abstract

This paper details the implementation process of creating an augmented reality (AR) application using Unity3D, focusing on a 3D dragon asset. The project involves integrating movement controls, AR Foundation, and AR Core XR Plugin for Android deployment. The implementation includes setting up a canvas with a joystick controller for dragon movement, configuring AR sessions, creating a plane manager for surface detection, and implementing image tracking using XR components. The paper also covers the creation of a mirrored AR view, light estimation for realistic rendering, and the integration of audio elements into the AR experience.
