Abstract
In this Letter, we describe a new and simple approach for modulating the electromagnetic wave and propagating it in a dielectric medium in the form of self-guided soliton by considering the torque developed between the induced dipoles in the medium and the external electromagnetic field without taking into account the nonlinear Kerr effect.
