Abstract
Insanity and related legal provisions are always debated issues. Whenever law is discussed in this regard only Mental Health Act and Section 84 IPC comes in picture. In addition to these two laws there are plenty of other legal provisions in India and abroad. In present paper an attempt has been made to summarize these other provisions in relation to settled cases in various courts.
