Abstract
Vegetable oils derived from various plant seeds, such as sunflower, mustard, palm, and coconut, are essential components of daily diets. However, ensuring the purity of vegetable oils is a significant concern because of the potential ease of adulteration. In this research article, different optical spectroscopy methods, such as fluorescence spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and FT-IR, are employed to compute the purity and study the edible oils commonly used in India. It also aims to achieve an easy and conventional way to analyze the purity of vegetable oils.
