Abstract

Peptic ulcer disease (PUD) remains a significant global health concern, necessitating continuous advancements in treatment strategies. Recent developments have focused on enhancing therapeutic efficacy, overcoming antibiotic resistance, and improving patient compliance. Shatavari is a herbal remedy with numerous therapeutic applications. Its role in treating PUD involves multiple mechanisms of action, including its protective effects on the gastrointestinal tract. This chapter explores recent advancements, emphasizing new pharmacological actions and emerging therapeutic strategies.
