Abstract

In order to improve the current LPG supply equipment used in most households, a retrofit addition to the current systems is proposed. The additional equipment provides a more predictable prevention measure without arising the fear of an accident by combining the detection and cut-off systems. A classifier model based on rate of change of concentration of the LPG is proposed in this paper. In addition to the detection, a cutoff system has been proposed using an intrinsically safe solenoid valve that will help in preventing any further damage.
