Abstract
The spectral studies and radiative characteristics of naphthalocyanine molecules in dimethyl formamide (DMF) were discussed. Analysis of the fluorescence spectral data showed that the relative fluorescence intensity was maximum in ZnNc. Because of the high values of the emission cross section, optical gain values also showed a considerable enhancement in the present system compared to borate glassy matrix.
