Abstract

Astham a global problem is causing considerable concern. Though many effective drugs to treat acute symptoms of asthma are available they are not completely safe for long term use. Hence the search has been started once again to look back to traditional medicine and the plants used to treat asthma. Five Indian plants of repute which have been individually well worked out by many for the efficacy and action on asthma, have been selected here to make the 'kada'. This 'kada' has proved beneficial in our clinical trials on patients.
