Abstract
We describe a rare case of an unusually located gangliocytoma. The conventional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) appearance was suggestive of an olfactory groove meningioma. However, advanced MRI sequences (diffusion-weighted imaging - DWI; perfusion MRI; susceptibility-weighted imaging - SWI; MR spectroscopy - MRS) revealed features more consistent with a glial neoplasm. © The Neurosurgical Foundation.
