Successful Treatment of Recurrent Unresectable Oral Cancer with Sequential Targeted Therapy, Surgery, and Metronomic Chemotherapy

Abstract

Naveena A.N. Kumar A high incidence of locoregional recurrences in oral cavity cancers remains the biggest challenge leading to treatment failures post-surgery and radiotherapy. Our case report elaborates on one such recurrence pattern and the juxtaposition of various modalities applied to successfully not only eradicate the tumor but also to keep the recurrence at bay.
