Abstract

Supracondylar fractures of the humerus in children have an evil reputation. They have long been associated with serious complications. Modern management, however, should all but eliminate these problems. It depends upon a logical and reasoned approach to the treatment of the child and an awareness of the possible pitfalls at each stage.
