Abstract
Chalcones 5 have been condensed with hydrazides of phenoxy acetic acid 1, p-chloro phenoxy acetic acid 2, α-naphthoxy acetic acid 3 and β-naphthoxy acetic acid 4 to yield the corresponding pyrazolines 6a-i, 7a-e, 8a-g and 9a-j. Some of the compounds have shown promising activity.
