Abstract
Addressing addiction recovery challenges necessitates multifaceted support mechanisms tailored to the varied needs of individuals. This research delves into creating and deploying a comprehensive support solution. Reclaim is developed with a focus on holistic care and user-centric design. It incorporates state-of-the-art technology, evidence-based practices, and empathetic guidance to empower individuals on their path to sobriety and well-being. In the design phase, authors leveraged the expertise of domain specialists to ensure that its psychological underpinnings were both practical and appropriate. Following design, the app was deployed, and a critical component of the development process involved consulting with experts to validate the app's functionality. It was tested with a small group of 30 users to gather valuable insights. By integrating insights from psychology, public health, and human-centered design, Reclaim aims to surpass conventional recovery methods, offering personalized, accessible, and ongoing support. The research underscores the importance of holistic approaches in today's world, highlighting the crucial role of technology and inclusivity in opening new avenues for healing and transformation.
