Unsteady MHD convective laminar flow between two vertical porous plates with mass transfer

    Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

    Abstract

In this chapter, an investigation of the heat and mass transfer on the flow of an oscillatory convective MHD viscous incompressible, radiating and electrically conducting second grade fluid in a vertical porous rotating channel in slip flow regime is carried out. The fluid is emitting radiation out in non-scattering medium and it is assumed to be grey and absorbing. The MHD flow is assumed to be laminar and completely developed. We obtained for the velocity and temperature distributions making use of regular perturbation technique. The Variation of Prandtl number, Reynolds number, Grashof numbers, chemical reaction parameter were discussed and and also amplitude and phase values are tabulated in table. The relevant profiles are discussed through graphically also skin friction coefficient, Nusselt number and Sherwood number are evaluated numerically and discussed. The impact of various parameters on velocity, temperature and concentration fields are shown graphically and tables and analyzed in detail.
