Abstract

The global warming is one of the widely discussed topics over the past decade. Increased construction activities cause enormous production of cement resulting in Greenhouse gas emissions which leads to global warming. In this research work the cement is replaced by silica fume and fine aggregate by WMPS in specified percentages to reduce cement consumption. The experimental observations suggest that the mechanical properties get enhanced by of 13.67 % due to inclusion of WMPS and Silica fume. The addition of bacterial solution further enhances the mechanical properties by 1.73 %. The environmental impact assessment using Recipe midpoint and endpoint analysis suggests that the utilization of silica fume and WMPS reduces the particulate emission by 45 % and greenhouse gas emission by 32 %.
