Abstract
The present study was aimed at evaluating the wound healing profile of alcoholic extract of Tinospora cardifolia and its effect on dexamethasone suppressed healing. Incision, excision and dead space wounf models were employed to investigate the wound models were employed to nvestigate the wound healing potential. The extract of T. cardifolia increased the tensile strength may be attributed to the promotion of collagen synthesis by the extract of T. cordifolia did not reverse dexamethasone suppressed wound healing.
